I'm editing in php and every keystroke and every space that box pops up! It's the most annoying thing on the planet! Seriously, even on a comment line!

I've turned it off in Preferences in every place I could find it but it still keeps popping up!

That sounds unlike how an editor in Eclipse usually behaves. Check the Preferences for the PHP Editor?

I've found no setting for it so I've uninstalled Eclipse and move to another editor.

Hello

To disable code completion or auto-suggestion pop-ups in Eclipse for PHP:

Go to "Window" > "Preferences."
Check settings under "General > Editors > Text Editors" and "PHP > Editor > Content Assist."
Turn off relevant options like "Show content assist" or "Auto activation."
Save changes and restart Eclipse if needed.
Check for any PHP-related plugins or tools that may have their own settings.
If the issue persists, consider disabling or uninstalling recently added plugins to identify the cause.
