I presume you're all familiar with 'passkeys' as a replacement for password-based logins on web sites. If not, see (the forum wouldn't let me post links here) your favorite search engine. Look for passkeys and webauthn.

Has anyone been able to configure "passkeys" login via Jakarta Faces?

The provided API is all in JS but should be able to be hooked from JSF; I just don't know if anybody's figured out an example app that has it working.

We all need this to be able to say that Faces can do anything that other modern frameworks can :-)

Thanks

Search GitHub for enterprise-jsf. I've got a demo available on a JSF WebAuthn integration component over there.
