Hey there,
It's clear there's been a change in behavior. Before version 4.8, I could delete files from outside Eclipse UI (e.g., via an Ant script) and then commit those changes, which would also delete the files in the SVN repository also.
However, starting from 4.8, files are marked as "Missing" and remain in the folder despite the commit process, regardless of whether the files were selected or not.
The only workaround I've found to "push" externally deleted files to the SVN server is to use the "Overwrite and commit" option, but this isn't always ideal for all scenarios.
P.S. I've experimented with Team, SVN, Resource selection, and the "Don't check the missing resources in the commit dialog" option, but it doesn't seem to affect the behavior described above.
